“Love your neighbor as yourself” (Leviticus 19:18) is quoted 8 times in the New Testament. That’s more than any other Old Testament verse. So, what if we literally chose to love our actual neighbors? That’s right, the people who live right next door and across the street! We love them because loving our neighbor is how we show that we love God. We love them because we are Christians. We love them because they are created in the image of God (Genesis 1:26-27) We love them because, good or bad, they are the neighbors God has
given to us (Acts 17:26).
How do we love our neighbor? We will train you! Just join one of our training
groups and we’ll help you get started. We give you baby steps where you can
move as slow or as fast as you are comfortable. Doesn’t matter if you are an
introvert or extrovert. You can crawl, walk, or run. We are all instructed to love
our neighbor! Please check back for future training dates.
